My family and I recently visited a zoo, where I caught this poor fella. This is a turtle, lying in the dry dusty dirt looking miserably sad. I enjoy visiting zoo's, however each time I am forced to wonder if these animals really need to go through the life of captivity just for our viewing pleasure. This poor turtle broke my heart, so I had to capture his sad little face.

Photography is my passion, though I recently started my own photography business (Ellington Photography) I am still an amateur and I love learning new things every time I pick up my camera. I crave capturing life, love, and simplicity through my lens.
